What happens when you blend a wish list of a practice gym, kitchen, cafeteria, and a performing arts center, with the budget of a small rural school district, and very limited site-availability? You get an award winning design and outstanding educational facility, of course.

This multi-purpose space serves daily functions as a cafeteria and commons area. It also presents extracurricular benefits as practice gym and performing arts center. The designers earned multiple awards from the AIA, and the team successfully satisfied the client’s unique needs. The new plan enclosed a courtyard area with as a centrally located multi-purpose space, connecting five existing buildings under one roof.
